I fell in love with design at a very young age and was always drawn to creativity, problem-solving, and visual storytelling. That passion led me to attend Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, where I was accepted into the Fine Arts program and was able to further develop my artistic foundation and creative thinking skills. My experience there strengthened my interest in design and motivated me to continue pursuing it at a professional level.
I later attended Parsons School of Design, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Product Design. During my time at Parsons, I learned how to approach design through both creativity and functionality, focusing on user-centered thinking, research, prototyping, and problem-solving. Working on various projects helped me understand how thoughtful design can shape people’s experiences and create meaningful interactions between users and products.
As my interest in design continued to evolve, I became increasingly fascinated by digital experiences and the impact of intuitive interfaces. Wanting to expand beyond physical product design, I began exploring website and user interface design on my own. This curiosity led me to teach myself Figma, where I developed skills in wireframing, prototyping, layout design, and user-focused interface development. Combining my background in product design with my growing knowledge of UI/UX design has allowed me to approach digital design with both creativity and a strong understanding of user experience.
