Personality lift
With an ownership change, the bar is very new, and we're figuring out how to present it as a “modern, contemporary, and classy” space to potential customers walking by every day. I was tasked with creating that atmosphere for the new website.
"The current website has the colors and shows the basics, but it definitely can be improved in multiple areas."
“Fonts doesn’t give the aesthetic of a classy bar, it’s more modern and boring”
“There should be an easier way to navigate throughout the website”
Keep it feminine!
Twist Bar's three primary colors are red, pink, and beige, as shown at the bar. The owners wanted to cater mostly to women and create a romantic spot for first dates and locals.

This led me to prioritize a more feminine introduction to the website by using the colors in our bar and incorporating the flowers we also hang in front of our bar doors.

Final Mockup

By incorporating the design choices into the wireframes, I can see a clearer representation of the final product. It’s important to stay true to the brand's identity and values by keeping the content and style consistent throughout the website.
User flow: Consistently researching and refining user flow throughout the design process makes it easier for the designer to understand which sections viewers go to first and to emphasize or redirect the viewer.
User impact: Projected to double website impressions on a year-to-year basis and increase private event bookings by 25% on a month-to-month basis.
